BEIJING-- The high-performance, low-priced synthetic intelligence model recently by Chinese start-up DeepSeek has created a wave of attention all over the world. DeepSeek-R1 appears to use performance that rivals alternatives from the U.S., genbecle.com but the company states it was established at less than a tenth of the cost of those designs. Chinese innovation news portal 36Kr spoke with the business's founder, Liang Wenfeng, in July 2024.
