Erectile dysfunction medications seized in Glengormley

Large quantities of unlicensed medicines have been taken by of Health officials during a search of a home in Glengormley.
A male was spoken with by department officers about unlawfully importing and subsequently supplying unlicensed impotence medications through the internet.
The 47-year-old was likewise questioned about other medicine offenses.
He will now be the subject of a report to the general public Prosecution Service.
The search was brought out by the department's Medicines Regulatory Group.
Its senior enforcement office, Peter Moore, stated: "It is crucial that we get the message throughout that unlicensed medicines can be harmful.
"These types of items being offered, normally online, have actually gone through no quality assurance and there can be no assurance about their security.
"You just do not know what you are taking or the conditions these products were made in. More significantly, you do not know the result drugs like this may have on your health."
